Yes. Cardboard 2x2 should all have Mylar now.

The clear plastic flips are the ones that can be problematic. If and when I buy a coin in one, I remove it immediately.

This 1971-D Lincoln has been in this 2x2 for 46 years. There is a bit of rust on the staples, but the coin is just fine.

I pulled it from circulation in 1971 when I was 15 years old.
