I'm looking for a better way to display these coins.
I just bought the eight coin commemorative set for Canada's 150th anniversary. It's two sets of four coins displayed in cellophane. I'm used to the US proof sets in hard plastic, all coins upright.
On the website of course all coins are oriented properly. When I got my set the coins are pointing in all different directions. I tried moving them with my fingers and a magnet, but they are so tightly packaged I can't budge them.

A coin dealer might help you find a specific container you need.

I agree. I'd try to find a different holder for them. That cello doesn't do much for a display.

These coins are regular circulation strikes, thus the cheesy packaging..
There are hard plastic year set holders available for about $2 each, but they have six holes.
Before the year is out I'm sure there will be proper holders for these coins, there will be a demand, everyone is saving these coins.

The proof set had sold out the day prior to when I called to complain about my set. I bought a case for my coins but the thinner ones don't stay in place. Still, it's better than the cellophane they came in.

Must be, as I have yet to see a single 2017 'Canada 150' coin in circulation. Nothing, Nada, Zip.
