Arizona makes precious metals legal tender...
I don't know what to make of this and would like to hear some other views.
As the Constitution already makes gold and silver our money, this seems to confirm that the Constitution is no longer in effect.
Your 2 cents (and where is the cent symbol on my keyboard) is appreciated.

Legal tender? Yes
Non circulating? Yes.

Otherwise known as
NCLT

Not much more than bullion 'coins', if they are sold in large numbers.
Not a good investment if sold in large numbers AND with a large premium on each.

I sincerely hope that is not the case.

Thanks NickelGuy, That seems a little inconvenient, but good to know.

With all the counterfeit bullion going around, I don't see this as a good idea. In concept, sure, just as we can barter anything in exchange for goods and services. But practically, it's rife for fraud like fake checks and money orders, and too much trouble to authenticate as part of an ordinary business transaction.
