Hi,

I have quite a few silver quarters that are in very worn condition. Some are very smooth. What are your thoughts on whether to take them to a dealer and/or to a Treasure Hunt to sell for melt value.

Thanks,
Peaches

Hi Peaches.

Silver is down so unless I really needed the few dollars I would just hang on to them for now.
For worn not key / semi date 90% silver quarters they are worth around $3.00...maybe a bit less.

you could probably sell them on ebay for $4 a piece but after shipping and fees it's best to just hang onto them.

Hi,

Thanks I suppose I will keep these a little longer and wait for the silver price to rise.

I don't do ebay anymore.
