1987-D LMC RPM Or PMD?

The MM looks to have light PMD but it also appears to be a RPM. Pics are the best I could get with my camera. The dark area under the MM is grime. Did the hit cause this or do you think it is a RPM? Your input appreciated.

Not seeing an RPM or PMD. Looks like split copper plating and zinc rot starting.

To me it looks like the top of the mint mark is flattened. Zinc is a soft metal. Seeing the zinc on the reverse show that what caused the flattening also removed the plating on the reverse. spendable.

I agree with joh1 and coop. ... but who wouldn't.
I have noticed that genuine 80's RPM's are fairly scarce.

Keep up the search.

They are out there.

RPM's from the 1980's are hard to find.
