...But I can't see the graffiti, can you? If was graded VG Details - Obv Graffiti by NGC. I wanted the coin, but because I couldn't see what would be the graffiti, I backed off. Can someone please point out what gave this the graffiti details grade? Thanks. Seller's images, good, but not great -

It's a nice coin in my book. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I can't tell much with your picture but I suspect this area has some light pin scratching. Look in this area.

I suspect it's on Liberty's cheek. Seller probably posted favorable photos to lessen the graffiti.

By the way, it is graded VF DETAILS (not VG details). I agree the cheek looks "funny". I'd need to see her in hand to be sure. Either way, very nice coin!

There seems to be a line or scratch through the 0 in the date . I'm not sure if that's what they call graffiti . If this coin had a nice low price ,I would have jumped on it .

I wanted the coin, but because I couldn't determine what the issue was, I dropped out at $190 (+ 18% + ship). If it was clear to me what the graffiti was, or how bad it was, I may have gone more. My initial thought if I won it was to possibly crack it and resubmit it. But I didn't get it, so it's moot.

Tough call from those pics for sure. I think you're better off not owning it.

Seller may have used a smoothing tool (smudge/blur) a la Photoshop to hide the extent of the graffiti in these pictures, as some areas look noticeably more blurred (e.g. cheek and neck) than others.

Nah, seller is a reputable auction house I've dealt with before, and the NGC cert shows the coin, and it looks the same.

That's always a positive, then; the graffiti must not be very severe at all.
