In the first pic of the date you clearly see the separation lines may have to zoom and this is in great condition what do you think ?

Not a DDO. It's Machine Doubling and post-mint damage ( PMD).

There's no ledging the lines of separation are in the upper rounded right curve of the numbers and no numbers or letters are smaller on top,

There are no listings (that I could find, at least) of a 1973-D listed as "DDO-001"
I could only find listings of 1973 plain and 1973 S coins.

The angles of the current images make it a bit of a challenge. Does MM location and makers show as in coppercoins example when viewed straight on? Thanks, Doug.

I circled the areas clearly seen as MD, the digits are NOT increased in size and MM is affected too and no notching on digits... CANNOT BE a DDO. ONLYknown listed 73D-DDO is thickness on details (date), this ain't it.

Be aware MD can happen along side a DD. Would like to see straight on images to reference against. Don't think the spread is equal nor MM matches, but that's where coin in hand makes the final call. The current angled images makes it inconclusive. Thanks, Doug.
