Dime error? This is a lump on metal on the dime the reverse side is normal no dents. I think its a find but I dont know.

Perhaps the coin was in a fire, causing a bubble to form.

to CCF. What does the reverse look like? I think it has been heated in some way.Value 10 cents.

It could be a variety of things. It would be one heckuva die chip/break if it was an error. But the porousity on the reverse does make me lean toward heating of some sort, though.

better pics are needed. With the ones supplied I'd say the coin has been heated or something has been applied to it. Either way, it's PSD (Post Strike Damage).
