I have coins from my late husband and have no idea of how to determine the value, if any.

, if you are able to post pictures of the coins, I'm sure someone will be able to give you an idea.

I'd post my number that you could text me pictures, but the mods here are quite strict. Good luck posting, and I'm sorry for your loss.

Thank you. I simply don't know a lot about these types of things. I prefer to take them locally since I have a lot, but don't know if they would be trustworthy.

Start by going to your local library and finding "A Guide Book of Untied States Coins" by Yeoman. Look up your coins in it to get a general idea of value. DO NOT take the values as gospel. Just look to see if any have larger numbers.

Some forums are more friendly than others when it comes to posting pictures. Photobucket has thrown a wrench into the mess now, best of luck.

to the CCF! For posting pictures, click one of these two buttons located around the quick-reply box (they lead to the same place): After clicking there, you will get to a new type of reply box. The first link below that says "Upload Image," so click that next. I always use my laptop for posting pictures, so I am not sure how different doing so from a phone will look, but on my laptop, there is a button that says "Browse," which allows me to browse through my photos. I imagine it would be similar on a phone, but if not, someone can still probably help you further.
