How about a hint as to what you want to know...bullion, burnished, proof, graded, raw?

Are you looking for the mintage figure for the 2015P? It supposedly is only 79,000.

As stated by the Mint that 2015 mintage number was (is) incorrect.

Yes but as far as I know the mint has not corrected it, or they are unable to do so.
Collectors I know in my coin club are still using the 79,000 number.
Rest in Peace

FoxWoods Man - Where have you seen this correction? I would love to know what the mint said myself.

I'm about sick to death of all the "new" ASE that keep popping up year after year for no other reason than to keep the TPG's pumping them out.

This year is the first year since I started collecting the ASE way back in 1986 that I've considered giving up trying to keep my set complete.

Too many struck by, UC, Enhanced Finish, Burnished, Reverse Proof, and more. Sad, because I did love them, but even buying them the minute they are issued still keeps the prices up much too high, in my opinion.

Learning the 2015 and 2016 alone is just a pain. Besides the "normal" proof, burnished, and bullion, the TPG's are also slabbing Struck By W, S, & P, even though you can 't tell one from the other outside the slab. Blah...

It's somewhere in this other ongoing conversation...I can't put myself through reading the 7 pages over again...

..and your group can go with any number they want but the 79k is not accurate...whatever makes them sleep at night.

So you are saying the mint has released an accurate figure?

I never said that. I said the Mint gave an INACCURATE figure and gave you the link so you could do your own research.

If you actually do the research you will find the Mint said the data (monster box markings) that was used to report how many ASE's were minted in Phily was incorrect and could be manipulated by removing a label on that box

I tought we were all pass this already. The mint said theres no way to verify which coins are from the P mint, if the mint cant verify neither should TPGs, period end of story. Now if you want the label to say it then go ahead and buy one but how do you really know its from Philadelphia? TPGs response "Because we say so" oh ok NGC. Lol.
ebay sales have slow down a bit, only 2 to 3 a day and only for ms69. No ms70 sales since july 1. Most show 0 bids for the $5,000 ones. They will have to drop those prices soon. And somebody sold a regular 2015 silver eagle label as a 2015P label for $300. OUCH.

Look at the label carefully.

I don't need to do research. I already knew all that you have said. A member of our coin club brought a slabbed 2015P ASE to the meeting and gave a talk.
And if you read my post above I said the mint may be unable to give an accurate figure.
Sorry but I wrongly thought you had new information.

..it would lead one to believe you were believing that 79k...

As was mentioned...we are over this and moved on (I thought).

Those who bought can believe what they need to believe to justify their purchase but there are no facts that state what the actual mintage was...AND, in reality, what difference does it make? It's the same coin that had a total mintage of 47 million or so...

thanks for chiming in . Today I went deep in to this P D and S mess. more on that later
.
What I have been trying to do is , a while back I saw a post somewhere that the 2016 ASE had three different mint marks on them.
one was burnished and one was a proof but can not remember the other. And all I can find on the 2016 is that there were only 3 styles put out, the third being bullion with no mint mart.
