makesomecents New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 07/22/2019 12:38 am 2 coin set, ASE from us mint and maple leaf from royal canadian. total mintage 110,000 and brand new release but has anyone heard of any quality issues ? recently saw a maple leaf from set visitor to our coin meeting bought on first day of issue. on left lower leaf had a silver raised sliver extending up from leaf approx. through 1 "radial line" on coin and also extended down from leaf through approx. 7 radial lines. no photo avaiable since person was just interested in info/opinion on coin. hopefully visits again at future meeting! anyone hear of similar condition ? lamination flaw or die crack ? regards ! I recently purchased a 2019 pride of 2 nations coin set u.s one and I also have a canadian maple leaf coin that has minting error in the top left corner of maple leaf side the laderal bars have a shiny line down them at first I thought it was a metal shaving but after closer inspection it wasnt it was actually in the coins surface.
