1970's Help Me Find Out What Happened To This Penny?

spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 07/07/2017 7:13 pm Yeah, it looks like someone intentionally sanded/ground it down so it's just damaged. It doesn't matter for this coin but, for future reference, don't use tweezers to handle a coin by the face unless the ends are wrapped with something soft that will not scratch the coin.
