1876 CC Dime

I lived in Virginia City Nevada just outside of Carson City for a little over 15 years and enjoyed studying this areas history. The CC mint mark conjures up vivid images of the old west for me. Although this dime looks to have been lightly cleaned at on time, I am still quite fond of it. Your grade opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Cuprous,
I'm a bit partial to CC coins myself.

I think this dime easily makes an EF-40 grade. The Liberty scroll edges are fully "raised" (as described in the ANA grading book) and I see detail in the two large leaves at the bottom of the wreath.

Cleaning signs aren't real obvious in these photos. There is a brighter area across the base of Liberty's rock which might have been rubbed, but if there are hairline scratches they don't show.

You can never have too many Carson City coins!

Grade, I'm not sure.....the coolness factor, however, is large!
