These are NOT for sale. Just a little story that tells me I am truly a collector of coins at heart.

About a month or so ago I put this collection up for consignment as a favor to my auctioneer who was told a bidders wife was looking some Canadian cents.
LOL
Well, I had just the thing for her. I came up with a price and the guy ( who is a millionaire ) and his wife were very interested but didn't know what they were looking at.
He hemmed and hawed for a few weeks & decided not to buy. Bet his wife is mad at him for not buying them too!

These have been away for a pretty long time and I would have been satisfied getting what I asked for as I planned to get a handful of higher end US coins with about half the money and give my wife the rest.
Now that they are coming back home, I am not all that disappointed.
So I will once again be pursuing a few tokens that I would like to add to this set.

Here are my albums that CCF graciously allows me to show these from. It's all I have to look at until they get back to me. Might be a week or two.

Sometimes the albums don't load due to too much traffic viewing others albums.

That's a whole lot of copper

Your albums make me want to get off my rear end and photo catalog my own collection (I've been wanting to get it done for over a year now)

And as a token guy myself I can appreciate your relief in getting them back.

Cheers and thanks for sharing

I'm glad you are getting them back. :)

When I get back home on Friday I will PM you and see if you want to do those cents we had going.

Here I thought nobody cared for my post and you guys saved the day. Thank you.
It will be like Christmas in July when they return.
The images are not that great in my CCF albums. More like an inventory. The whole collection has a generally milk chocolate or semi sweet brown look to it with the exception of a few brass. Yes there are a few duds, but they were either great deals or hard to find.
I bought most from Canada through the mail. Some at coin shows. A few from US sellers.
The coins and tokens look much neater paging through the big binder. As you get to the 1940's they start to turn redder.
I am very happy that they stopped making one cent coins in Canada.
They can quit the nickel as far as I'm concerned too.
I like em but it's a tough game to stay in living in the US.
I am practicing talking pictures. When I get good enough, I have an awful lot of nickels to photograph and upload.
It's a bucket list thing. It has to be done.

NickelGuy,

I must say that you have a nice set of Cents.

I would like to have any of them, but I'm getting in the age that I should sell mine or plan to give to my grandson. I would like to finish the Victoria cents. and my Canada type set.

I do plan to assign the variety numbers in the descriptions but if you hover over many of them or look at the file name, they are assigned with the same file name as you would find that variety in the book.

Thank you for bookmarking!

Nice sets Nickelguy. I'm particularly partial to the PEI tokens myself but they are all very nice to have.
And not that I would ever presume to tell someone what to do with their things, but I wouldn't sell 'em. I'd just love 'em.
Congrats on a nice collection.
