Below are the coins I've just won auction from a few days ago. "But, justinokay didn't you used your last allowance on the other Sassanian and Ptolemaic coin already?"
The answer is I did,but about a day after I posted the coins, my friends and I had a reunion. They gave me a very early "B-day gift". So I went to find myself some nice coins to buy. Best thing was I got these at opening bids!

THRACE,
AR Tetradrachm, 35x32mm,
150-100 BC.
Obverse: Head of Dionysos right wearing diadem and ivy wreath.
Reverse: Hercules standing left and holding lion's skin with club.

Just-Won-An-Auction.......-!

* Don't you just love the variety of Greek letters on the reverse.

Ardashir I (224-240 AD).
AR Drachm, 27mm, 4.2g, Mint Ctesiphon
Obverse: Ardashir I, Founder of the Sassanian Empire.
Reverse: Fire altar without attendants.

Just-Won-An-Auction.......-!

What you guys think? Any comments welcomed.

Super cool! If you don't mind my asking, what is the approximate value of the Thracian tetradrachm? I'm looking to pick one up for myself soon.

Each is a lovely example of its type. I've always been partial to the Thasos tets, and this is a really impressive example. As for the Ardashir...*sigh*, the fellow who brought the Parthian empire to an end and then had the audacity to mint at Ctesiphon...

Well,I must admit, that's a truly great looking coin. Congrats.

Thanks Matt2727 and Bob.
The tets are valued at around $200 or less for a more worn example and progressively get more expensive with the better grade examples.

I got mine from @JohnAnthony in a private auction on another site, some of you guys might know him.Heres his ebay

Two excellent coins, I have to admit I'm envious of the Ardashir. Congrats on adding two more beauties to your collection.
