Before I say anything else---You need to make sure it is genuine.

Chinese coins are the MOST faked coins in the world. For every real coin, there's fifty fakes out there.

This appears to be a Hu-Peh Province Dragon Dollar, issued between the years 1895-1907 under the Kuang-Tsu Emperor. Genuine coins should be 90% silver and weigh 26.7 grams.

Assuming the coin is genuine, it looks to be Borderline VF and would probably go for $200-300.

I think this coin is genuine from the looks-but I cant be sure unless I see it in person under a loupe. I think its best for you to take it to your local coin shop or to a coin show to have a dealer examine it.

Catalogs for Chinese coins are often wrong, real market value is often multiples of what they are listed for because of the desirability among collectors, especially Chinese collectors.

^^thank you for the help! I´ll definitely get it examined by someone. I got it for 5 dollars in a shady alley in China, so it would be pretty cool if it turned out not to be fake!

I had one almost exactly like that. Try and see if it sticks to a magnet. If it does, it's a fake.

Red flag number one.

There are a few people one this site who are great at determining whether a coin is authentic or not (and I am not one of them). If you do not get many responses on that, that is probably because of the forum this thread is in. Because this is a grading question, I highly doubt this thread will get moved, so I suggest reposting this as an authenticity question in the World Coins forum if you would like more people to see this. The World Coin Grading forum can be quite slow at times...

As for the grade: with these types of coins, I say they are all counterfeit until proven real. If you can prove this coin is real, then I shall try to grade it.

That's your answer right there... If that's the source on this piece, it is certainly not genuine... Quickest way to check on these would be a precise scale, my first instinct would be this is one of the fakes that is significantly underweight
