Got this off ebay last night. I think it's a solid 64 or better. This is in an older PCGS slab. It's graded a 63. Also has nice toning. Seller pics below via link

looks 63 due to some hits to cheek best seen in first pic. Hard to see surfaces in most of the other pics.

Obviously I'll post better pics when I get it in hand. I still got it cheap about $60 under greysheet bid so I'll be happy regardless. It has an above average strike too which helps, considering this date is notorious for weak strikes.

60 smackers below gs bid is great. Looks like a great deal for a better date morgan. I also like the very natural toning.

From those pictures, I am not seeing too many scratches on the cheek—just some odd toning streaks. It looks to me like it could make MS-64.

Looking back at this seller's past offerings I would say he's left some money on the table likely due to his poor images.

Your pick does look promising.

Dave

I was very tempted to go after his 1897 S and 1885 S Morgans that ended that night as well, but I simply didn't have the money on hand to buy all 3.

Little enhanced picture looks like MS64.

A collector who likes toned Morgans will pay premium over greysheet on this, IMO.

Got it in hand today. Color is beautiful. A few decent hits to the right of the eye and below it, some very light marks on the chin. This may be a possible reconsideration coin. Above average strike helps, and the colors may be possible for a 64. Here are pics,
