Back at it after a couple days off.

From wildiwnds:
Constantine II, as Caesar
CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, laureate, mantled bust left holding Victory on globe and mappa
BEATA TRAN-QVILLITAS, altar with globe inscribed VOT-IS-XX, three stars above. Mintmark PTR.
Trier RIC VII 312,P

Constantine-II-Beata---Holding-Victory-On-Globe

Constantine-II-Beata---Holding-Victory-On-Globe

A good bit rougher than the last few, but Wildwinds has this one at R4. Once again, something is fishy, I am seeing the reverse legend as

BEATA TRA-NVILLITAS

Not sure what is going on with the Q, but I am not finding that reverse break listed, except for London for Constantine II or Trier for Constantine I but with a different mint mark.

Any ideas on this latest stumper?

Haven't seen that spelling before. Could be a die error?

Thanks!

It's been a while since I looked at this one; I'll have to investigate again and maybe ask some of the LRB experts around the net!

it is not the first time a variant if the legend is not in RIC . My RIC VII dates from 1966 and I think it is the most recent version but your version of the legend is unknown for Trier with this mint mark . albert
