Got this quarter in change the other day and have been trying to figure it out.

We have seen the xtra cactus die chips before but this one has some xtra xtra chips and die cracks.

In particular I am interested in what you think about the marking above the flower. I originally dismissed it as PMD but in checking out the bay I found another one just like mine - so that is why I decided to post it.

The one on the bay is up for auction for 50.00 bucks - I sure would like to get the price for mine. His images are so much better than mine are.

What do you all think? Thanks for looking

I think it's pretty awesome. Looks like another chip above the flower.

Yeah, I thought that was kinda ridiculous.
I see so many like that. There was also a dime (I think) sold for over 17.00 seller listed it as doubled die and it is DDD that we see all the time on the 2015 & 2016's and then there are other responsible sellers who sell the same dime and list it accordingly (kudos to them). They still sell, because some are just so bad that they are interesting. There are still many coins listed and sold for MD and DDD because people like the odd ones & because they are different in there own way.

Edited to correct my grammar :)

I agree CC, with what you're saying. It burns me up when I see something falsely advertised. It doesn't bother me a bit to see anything sold at any price, as long as it's called what it is. The seller doesn't make the market, the buyer does.

It is unfortunate that the really legit ones sell for squat - I just think most regular people (non-hobbyists) really prefer the strange odd ball ones that we come across. That seems to peak the interest in my boys. "That one look weird" so I guess solution is to sell it all along with the good stuff.
