I just noticed the date, live auction starts 3 Aug and runs two weeks. This baby's going for a ton more than $15000.
Rest in Peace

I can just picture some joker at the Denver mint , stashing some brass planchets in his locker. Then at the right time during '82 sticking a handful into the feeder and laughing at his own little practical joke. It was so much fun that he did it again in 1983! ... and maybe '84 or '85... ?
