Hello. Is this a cracked die? Has interesting little fill up at top right side of field. Thanks for your help!

Mercury dimes are considered Classic coins, so I moved your post to the appropriate section for the proper attention.

Please post your coins in the proper sections. That way they get the proper attention.
Rest in Peace

Yes it would be considered a die crack since it moves towards the rim, but It is quite thick at the wingtip which makes me think that is something else. A die chip, die gouge(unlikely) or an oddball strike thru. Die cracks aren't generally that "globby", are consistently thinner along the length.

Because it has considerable thickness, I would call this a die break rather than a die crack. A die break is simply a crack that has gotten bigger.

Is there also something going on with the rim on reverse?

I don't think it's a die crack or die break . Maybe something else Post Strike .

if it just "sits on" the coin, and is not a part of it, it's solder. Check to see if the break" is a part of the strike
