I not a huge fan of toned coins, but I do have a few nice original toned MS examples that I like. This pic dosen't do the coin justice, as the Brown area is actually more red. in the right light the green is very luminescent.

If the toned area is not covering anything up, the images would suggest an ms-66 coin. Need a bigger pic to determine the fb designation.
A nice, original looking coin!

Very nice. I don't know much about these, but at least MS65. Isn't that a "split band"?

Looks MS-65 to me. The toning sure appears to be original. The small dark spots on Liberty's cheek, neck, and cap wing could limit the final grade. 1939-D Mercs are fairly common in full-band mint state and this one might qualify, but the bottom band may be incomplete. Larger photos with a sharper focus would help.

Here are some better pics, I think I am finally getting the hang of coin photography.

I would think MS65 FB...but I am not expert in grading mint state coins or Mercs, so take anything I say with a large grain of sodium chloride.

First, great looking coin -- I don't look to collect toned coins either but this one is an eye-catcher. I am not a Merc collector but that's clearly FB and I would say at least MS65. Fine photograph.
