I just bought this Nickel on E-BAY for a good price . I'm thinking a long Acetone soak and then a Verdi-Care application to rid this coin of Verdigris and what ever else is on it . Suggestions from members welcomed .

I need to get some Verdi-care but your plan sounds good.
I have had some success on metal detecting find with a long soak in mineral oil as well.
Nice coin !

Get some. Do it.
Like many others, I hemmed and hawed about spending a few dollars for Verdi-Care, but I'm glad I did.
I got a trial size, and it has lasted two years. And I apply it liberally - perhaps more so than required.
It is a part of my tool kit as much as 2x2s and magnifiers.
It won't work on everything and miracles aren't guaranteed, but it won't hurt anything and it is doing good even if you can't see it.

Acetone will get all of that off in a jiffy.

I think you will have good luck with an over night acetone soak. Works better on nickel for some reason. I don't know why, but I do keep my eyes out for coins just like this one as the green often scares most bidders.
