Hey all,

I'm normally okay with identifying Byzantines, but these scyphates are just so hard to put a finger on. Plus, I'm pretty sure they're not on WildWinds, which is what I use.

All help is appreciated!

I believe it is Isaac II Angelus 1185 - 1195. Sear 2003. Hope I'm right, my ID skills have gotten bad lately.

@Matt, that's a great Trachy that you have there. I really like the detail on both sides of your coin.

Also, I agree with @echizento's attribution. The obv inscription should be something like I/CAA/KI/OC on the left of Isaac and {delta}EC / {PI}O/TH/C on the right of Isaac, although Sear mentions that there are many variations in the inscriptions.

Thanks for your compliment Spence. I actually picked it out of a lot of scyphates, with this being the best looking one.

Thanks to both you guys for the help. Much appreciated!
