Edit: I did some research and Well, not any varieties on it so most likely just wear. Considering it's age if there were others there we would have known about it by now. Pretty cool looking though. Don't know about upper curve tho, why so thick? See absolutely no indication of DD or MD, Just a beat up coin. Can't explain thick upper, just smashed...? CoinCents Pillar of the Community United States 3656 Posts	Posted 07/23/2017 10:25 pm Yeah Joe the Floating Roof is a fun find usually on the 1969-D & 1970-D LMC's (but now I have found 2 1969S with this same over polishing). The cause is from over polishing the dies to the point where it removes some of the details on the design, which in this case are the roof supports. Report this Post to the Staff
