Cascade Pillar of the Community United States 7390 Posts	Posted 07/24/2017 6:51 pm The weak D is almost gone due to abrasion as you can see in the last pic but you can still barely make it out and the key PUP die scratch in front of the arrow tips seems to be there. Report this Post to the Staff

Being dropped and lightly sliding across the ground or table or something to that effect. Not a cleaning. It should straight grade at au50-55 Report this Post to the Staff

afewmorecents Valued Member United States 97 Posts	Posted 07/29/2017 4:57 pm IMHO, the coin is not a weak "D." NONE of the diagnostics are present including the mint mark. The bright lines at the base of your coin are scratches. If you send that coin in, the best you can hope for is AU 1911-P. It will probably come back AU, "detalis." Report this Post to the Staff
