The weak D is almost gone due to abrasion as you can see in the last pic but you can still barely make it out and the key PUP die scratch in front of the arrow tips seems to be there.
Gold is very soft. They are abrasions from circulation. Being dropped and lightly sliding across the ground or table or something to that effect. Not a cleaning. It should straight grade at au50-55
Let us know! I personally wouldn't want to pay up for a MM that I couldn't see just because the coin exhibited certain die markers, but that's just me. Good luck.
IMHO, the coin is not a weak "D." NONE of the diagnostics are present including the mint mark.
The bright lines at the base of your coin are scratches. If you send that coin in, the best you can hope for is AU 1911-P. It will probably come back AU, "detalis."
