I won all 3 of these auctions, and I do know the 1879 O is a big ticket coin in MS 64. What do you think about the prices that I paid? Too high? I also did pick up a 2017 ANAs World Fair of Money silver panda and 2 of the tri-mettalic ones.

The statement that the last one was at once graded MS64+ and removed
from the holder is a bit concerning but I don't collect Morgans.

Congrats on your new acquisitions!
Rest in Peace

I'm not a Morgan grabber either, but I did shudder at the prices you paid, realized that's why I'm not a Morgan guy!

The fields on the second one look like surreal. I hope you'll post your own photos when you have them!

FYI, I meant surreal in a good way. Looks like there are no bags marks or anything on the surfaces.

Well, at least on the reverse I don't see marks. A MS 65 is a $3700 coin. Even a MS 64 is a $500 coin. And a MS 63 is a $240 coin.

Yeah. I'm hoping for at least one 64 out of the 2. A 64 is a $500+ coin.

No guts no glory. I think you will get at least one winner out the 79-O's. Good job!

I'll postpone comment until the coins are in hand and new (consistent) pics are posted.

The bidder with a feedback of 139 has strange bidding tactics.

Hard to give a opinion without the coins being in hand ... or very
good pictures..

I do see a hint of a thumb print on the coin in the third link. In the 7 to 8
o'clock area on the obverse.
Rest in Peace

Not strange at all when you look at this bidder's history - 97% with the same (this)seller.

Second one: cleaned/dipped. I think I can see hairlines, plus there are the tell-tale halos around the devices.

Third one: No way that is an MS-64. MS-62 at best.

You made a gutsy move on the 79-O being removed from holder.I too would like to withhold comments till you receive the coin. But overall you made good pick ups.

Agree with TypeCoin. Taken as a whole, this doesn't seem like that great a deal to me.
