I am always wary of these third tier TPG's. I will tell you that I have purchased raw stuff from both of these guys and I was happy with my purchases. Whenever I have seen a coin slabbed by NNC on ebay for the most part they look just slightly overgraded, but I have seen an occasinal one that is way overgraded. Report this Post to the Staff

I did some research a while back, and determined the seller known as centsles also runs NNC. The names and addresses match. I'll share my opinion here from looking at many ebay auctions: I feel that NNC coins are often graded higher than I would see in PCGS or NGC slabs. I purchased a terribly overgraded coin with very misleading pictures and, obviously, over paid. Paid close to $100 for a coin worth little more than $20. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing a coin from this fellow anytime soon. I recommend staying away from this company, and far away at that. Of course, this is just my opinion and you can do as you choose. Be sure to have a solid return policy if you decide to take a chance Report this Post to the Staff
Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6394 Posts	Posted 04/28/2008 12:26 am I recall winning a centsles ebay auction for an 1820 bust dime, graded AU-58 in an NNC holder. It was a decent coin as far as I could tell but I thought it was significantly overgraded. IMO it deserved a VF-30 or EF-40 grade at most. I sent it back with no problem from the seller. I would not rule out another purchase from centsles; they were fast and courteous on the refund and they do offer a lot of nice collector coins. If you like the coin, and the seller offers a good return policy, your downside risk isn't too bad. You may score a keeper at an attractive price.
