One thing is for sure..... whomever counter stamped it had no idea that it was a 3-legged Buffalo nickel! I once owned a 1909-SVDB cent that had a hole drilled in the field right in front of Abe's nose. People do crazy stuff! |

Maybe it is the exposure of the image but the back leg doesn't look as "motheaten" as it should, and I am not seeing the heavy die wear on the indians neck.
