I was referring to the hair lines in the top of it CC. Now that you mention it, I see the bulbous "heart" too. It's kind of odd. There's also a large area in relief under his eye that extends almost to his temple. The third picture shows it best. The forehead, nose, lip, and chin are easy - just extreme Strike Doubling. I don't know how the relief area and ear came out like that. Maybe someone will know? Glad you like it EandV. I've never seen one with such a strong strike like it is on the nose. I throw most strike doubleds back in the pile, but not this one.

Quote: There's also a large area in relief under his eye that extends almost to his temple. I saw that as well and meant to ask if that was actually a die crack. So it had to take a pretty big bounce go that great a distance (getting the hair design into the ear and the large spread on the nose) I think this is a great find CM. p.s. girls are always about hearts, flowers and the such. Plus I love to the the hidden picture finds, word searches, crossword puzzles and the such.

Nice one coinmasters, I have seen examples similar to your but in earlier years 1996-98 and most had Die Clash just below the Earlobe and another on reverse between the Fourth and the Fifth Rays to the right of the Eagle's Neck around the second lowest Star like yours.

Upon further examination after reading your comment CC, it is a Die crack, a huge one. Maybe it happened when the die hit his nose so hard. lol Quote: p.s. girls are always about hearts, flowers and the such. Plus I love to the the hidden picture finds, word searches, crossword puzzles and the such. Don't forget, I knew you when you were not a lady. Speaking avatarilly of course. There's a lot worse habits than searches and puzzles. Coins are good for us too. I play computer games too. Thank you, I agree it's one of my better recent finds. Thanks Debrsjc and Moxking. I'm tickled to have found it. It was hard to miss. Good eye Chase. I've been slammin a lot of Kennedys lately and completely missed that! If I'd have seen it, I'd have shown it a little better. Your eye for clashes is great, but there seems to be something wrong with your arithmetic. 1992 comes before 1996-98. Quote: I have seen examples similar to your but in earlier years 1996-98

Wow, CM you do have a good memory Quote: Don't forget, I knew you when you were not a lady. Speaking avatarilly of course I only used my Indian Head Avatar for about a month before switching. I was going to upload my old avatar but when I changed my User ID I lost all of my previous uploaded images. Edit: Fuzzy & our "Resident Magician" Bobby Fixed the Problem with my Photo's. Thanks a bunch The die crack probably occurred from the clashing of the dies.

That's a nice Indian Head. The matting serves it well too. The color invokes images of Royalty, very positive. Kind of like this one. Coop matted it for me a while back. You say I have a good memory, thank you. I'd be in trouble without it. I store everything in sections in the back of my head. If only I could remember which sections I stored it in.

There's also some Die Deterioration on both sides, and a chip. UssID18, good eye, you found two more errors to make it a seven error coin. If there's something to the relief I mentioned it would be eight, not to mention the ear, nine. Strike Doubled Die Crack Die Clash Misaligned Die Struck Through Grease with Grit Die DeteriorationDie Chip Relief? Ear? Actually seven confirmed.

I wonder what the official record is for the number of mint errors on one coin? Have you thought about sending these guys and e-mail or pictures? http://cuds-on-coins.com/
