I only need a few emperors now and they are increasingly expensive and hard to find. I recently found this really nice Aemelian on Vcoins and the Diana type was the one I had always wanted for this slot. Aemilian (AD 253) Silver Antoninianus, A.D. 253, Rome, 21mm, 4.81g, 180°, RIC IViii 2b. Obv: IMP AEMILIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, Radiate, draped & cuirassed bust right. Rev: DIANAE VICTRI. I was watching that same coin on ebay but was waiting for a Bonus Bucks promo before pulling the trigger... glad he's got a good home now! That is an interesting depiction of Diana, by the way. The way her hair is pulled up makes her head appear larger in relation to her body. As a result I can't shake the impression of a young child, or maybe a goblin! Report this Post to the Staff
