Small date. NGC is notorious for getting the 1875 LD and SD confused.

You're right Pokermandude, as NGC graded this coin as a 'Large date'.

It's a costly error for someone since the grade is ms63.

Looking at the top of that 5, you might also have a "low small 5 over small 5".

This variety is showing on p.287 of the 2010
Charlton..and very sought after in that high grade.

That exact same reverse die clash is also showing.

A sharp blowup of the 5 would help us here.
