@bob june, can you please post a pic of the other side? We don't have great coverage on these types of coins here, so you may need to be patient with waiting for an answer. Or maybe an answer will come right away.

Might be a rupee of Akbar the Great (1542 - 1605), but it's way out of my collecting area. I recommend checking with drnsreedhar.
