It takes time and effort to get good at this, but as long as you learn here, it won't take as long. Here's a real picture of a doubled die obverse I found from 1984. It also referred to as a "Doubled Ear". Always be on the lookout for this. It's almost impossible to find in circulation, but you could get it if you're lucky. Errers and Varietys. Have you tried the tooth pick to see if the items I noted are just air pockets from the plating. the long one a noted as a possible die dent or die gouge but I can't say that I have ever seen one that far into the design.
