You should have told me you were looking for one... I had three in my inventory that I practically gave away (because they were VF-EF grades)....

I hadn't seen any around until now...at auction or ebay, etc. I paid $40 USD each which can't be too bad of a price. These are circulated too but not as bad as my pictures look. What years did you have?

Fun additions. Finding those tougher weird items are always enjoyable. Congratulations.

Quote: What years did you have? I cannot remember offhand, but at least five different years. I bought them off a silver roll hunter, he would just go through boxes of 10c with a strong magnet... to find the silver coins and of course, a few of these. I had one in AU that I sold to a collector in Montreal for CAN$75, I traded one with Sean Isaacs and carried three others to coin shows for a while... I might still have one or two left...

I was wondering how people found these since they appear to be normal dimes to the naked eye. Thanks for your background on these SPP.

I rummaged around and I still have two left... a 1973 and a 1981. The RCM did not strike 10c for Barbados in 1981, but I suspect it was a 1980 Barbados planchet kicking around (or Canadian 1981 10c were produced in late 1980)... both are circulated grades, F to VF, I suspect it would be a challenge to find one in mint state condition, because of how similar they look to the Canadian nickel 10c.

I don't have a Canadian 1c struck on a Barbados 10c planchet... the two you show here Zimmy are quite nice... I do have a nice 1981 nickel dollar struck on a Barbados 25c planchet however....
