I'm a relative novice with coins and I have no idea what this one is. The images aren't brilliant because the coin is so small. What letters I can make out say ELIZABETH and possibly ANGERANCIE on one side on the other there is definitely the word REGINA but other than that I can't make anything out. I have literally no idea where this coin came from. My wife found it on the floor of the living room one day and neither of us know how it got there so any help is appreciated. Thanks.

We need better photos to give much of an opinion. Cut out all the background and leave only the coin in the photo.

From what you are showing, I'm guessing a fake plated gold.

Better pics would certainly help pin it down, but it may be something like:

Thanks for the help. Looking at the images from the links you gave Bob it looks very much like the second one.

@DA, first, welcome to CCF. Second, could you please also post the diameter and weight of this piece? Having this information can help us to discern real vs. fake. Thx.

Added: Ok the tape measure is acceptable for diameter, but really need the weight too.

Another post where my " o'meter " is going nuts.
In 4 decades I have yet to find anything on my living room floor that can not be explained, never mind a SUPPOSED gold coin
My apologies Ron if this post is inappropriate but I find it amazing that someone can post a story such as this and it not be questioned

Reminds me of the " hoover coin " that appeared a while ago.
