jay4202..

I think it is RPM-09, although it is no mention of die gouge by Dr. Wiles but bare in mind as the die progresses , details change and vary form coin to coin! who knows how many hundreds or thousands on this variety was produced bu the same die!!

Chase, I understand that markers come and go throughout the life of a die, but the location of the mint mark does not change. That is THE constant die marker. The D on the OP's coin is too far to the east to be 009. The bowl of D on the OP's coin is under the bottom point of the 5. On RPM-009, the bowl of the D is clearly to the left of the bottom point of the 5.

I can't find a listing for this RPM. May want to contact Wiles or Wexler. Wexler may have a listing, it just doesn't have images up yet.

Look at these 2 images. OP's coin cropped and Coppercoins image cropped. See how far the D is from the tail of the 9 on the OP's coin. Definitely not 009.

Send it to John A. Wexler. I submitted two new 2005 DDR's. It's in the processing line right now getting processed.
