I got these coins for $4 each and wondered if they are worth more.

Nice coins, but price wise you paid pretty close to average selling price for coins in those grades.

You might get somewhere around $15-20 if you were selling them, but that wouldn't leave any margin for selling costs.

Nice coins that you like. That's most important.

I think you got a good deal with them being graded by the big two. But why would some one pay the grading fees on 5-15 dollar coins?

Because people are willing to gamble on getting an MS70 so they can sell for a good profit. Its all part of the TPG slabbing/marketing system. The high prices people will pay for an MS70 slab keeps the slabbing companies in business.

If everyone would "buy the coin and not the slab," there would likely be less slabs available for little money.
