I didn't...I just don't have any coins with named die cracks or any worth naming. So I gotta sit this round out.

Just checked my 2005 nickels. No speared bison so I guess I'm out too. I really wish that design had stayed

This is my favorite die crack. Supposedly it is a 'BB-22'
..which could easily mean 'bad break' or 'boo-boo' or 'basically bifurcated'

It makes one wonder why such gross disfiguration was allowed to circulate.
Could they not see the symbolism? The eagle has been decapitated! The newly formed republic is in danger of breaking apart!

Which brings us to this fateful day, so to say, where it does sometimes seem that polarization of attitudes is reaching a peak, creating internal stresses that if left unattended to, could break apart this two-hundred-forty-two year old political experiment. Be aware, brave citizens. Pay attention to what's going down.

So here's the coin, and that's my story. Long Live Old Glory. May your 4th be happy.
[Even if it did cost a lot of Native Americans their lives and their sacred lands.]

Since the CRH rule has been removed, I have a couple that I purchased specifically for the die crack. On War Nickels, the propensity for die cracks combined with the mintmark change led to the birth of the "$" mintmark on S-mint coins. Here is the better of the two:

It's also a bisecting rim-to-rim die crack:

The second is more off-center, but still runs completely through the S:

This one is probably rim-to-rim, but I can't be sure. I still want to add examples from '43 and '45 for a set.
Anywho, those are my die cracks with a simple narrative/name.

Edit: while PCGS does not attribute the $ mintmark (AFAIK), they are slabbed, so I believe that's 66 points if acceptable?

Very nice die cracks as I sit here on the sidelines.
