I didn't want to go with another ancient or Japanese coin, so I decided to go with a recent acquisition along the lines of a latent interest of mine - German Notgeld! Germany, Weimar Republic Stadt Frankenthal Iron 50 pfennig, 1919 Obv: Two eagles in flight before sunburst and clouds Rev: STADT FRANKENTAL / 50 / 1919 Points (cumulative) Notgeld or Kriegsgeld (or similar, private coin of mecessity) - 1 Country - Germany (or predecessor states) - 1 Private post-WWI city, any - 1 Frankenthal - 2 Date - 1919 - 1 Denomination - Fraction of a Mark - 1 Denomination - 50 pfennig - 1 Denomination unit (pfennig vs mark) is implied, not stated - 1 Composition - Any base metal - 1 Composition - Iron - 1 Design: Any bird - 1 each Eagle - 1 each + 1 bonus each if they are "from life" e.g. non-heraldic Sunrise / sunset - 1 Prominent rays / sunburst - 1 Cloud(s) - 1 Oak leaf/leaves - 1 Typeface is in block print or similar- 1 Good luck! I'll pick a winner sometime late Friday. P.S. You'll make me a very happy Finn if you tally up your points for me!

I assume that entries don't have to be notgeld? For example, a St. Gaudens $20 would be worth about 6 points.

Yes, and so would any 1919 dated Walking Liberty half (a non-1919 would only get 5, I think). There's probably something non-notgeld that could pick up even more points; in fact I suspect that the theoretical highest possible scoring coins are mostly not notgeld (due to a loophole that @Finn235 might not have thought of), though I'm not sure if any CCF members have any eligible examples.

Nice entries so far!
@Spence, I hadn't thought about it, but I'll give the point for any non-metal material used in notgeld; e.g. paper, cardboard, porcelain etc.
