Here's my entry:

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!
Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

Notgeld or Kriegsgeld (or similar, private coin of necessity) - 1
Country - Germany (or predecessor states) - 1
Private post-WWI city, any - 1

Denomination - Fraction of a Mark - 1

Composition - Any base metal - 1

Design:
Any bird - 1 each (two ducks)
Oak leaf/leaves - 1 (the rim design looks to be made of oak leaves, but I cannot confirm this)

So it's at least 7 points, eight if the leaves count.

Those St. Gaudens double eagles are just such a sight to behold. Thanks for that, Pepactonius!

Sorry for being a day late! In crunch mode at work.

Nice coins all! Final tallies:

bd251 - 5
Arkie - 7
Pepactonius - 6
Dorado - Participation (I think 2 for the sunrise and sunburst?)
spruett001 - 8 (Those do look like oak leaves!)

I declare Spruett the winner! Take it away!

Well, it turns out that I'm not exactly full of ideas. So, maybe a simple "match the coin" will do. Here's the coin:

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

I love the rims on that one!

The first to exactly match wins. If no one can do that, then the closest to an exact match will win! This round will end if someone matches it exactly, otherwise it will end Wednesday night with the closest entry.

"Close" can mean you have a 1979 US dime. Every aspect, including composition and shape, would be under consideration.

I didn't know the challenge coin was a one-year type. Thanks bd251! Also, you're in the lead. I actually expected someone to have an exact match out of the box. Hmmm....

This is a tough challenge as virtually all of my Indonesian coins are older and denominated differently. I think this is about as close as I can get: this 100 Rupiah dates to 1999, but at least comes from the right country and was issued by the right bank.
