Yay! So, I have had some time to think about this round, and the format will be similar to how mysilveryears's was a few rounds back. Otherwise saying, the people who enter will be able to vote on the winner. The Challenge: Post your coin with your favourite toning. There are no restrictions for country, denomination, date, or anything like that. Only the toning matters here. When this round ends after three days (around the same time on Thursday), the contestants will need to PM me whose toning they like best, and the one with the most votes will win. So... let the round commence!

I don't have too many toned coins, but here is one of my favorite ones I have photographed. I just tilted coin and shot. I don't know if this is NT or AT. I just know I found this in an old Canada Cents book in got in a lot of Canada cents and nickels that I bought off another member.

I recently sold one of my best (maybe the best) but I still have this one. It is the standout example I currently own:

Too many choices ..and I wonder if Joseph knows how hard it is to photograph subtle toning. I think these Peace dollar images most accurately picture the coin in hand, of all those failed examples where I have tried to capture delicate shades of rose and turquoise. The '23 Peace almost looks as if it was made using a gold alloy. On top of that it is one of the best strikes I have found: So that's my entry. That Spanish coin below can provide evidence of above described failure... It is probably my favorite toned coin but my camera and lighting just do not reproduce the colors like the eye does.

Lots of great toned coins so far! Here is my best (a Didrachm from Lucania, Greece that dates to between 300 and 280 BC):
