Honey, I'm home!

Here we have KM #132, German-occupied Belgium, 25 Centimes, Belgie-Belgique. One from that endless stream of crappy wartime, corroded, zinc coins. With one distinction -- this one is dated 1946.

But...the Germans weren't occupying Belgium in 1946. Which is the point of my interest, but not the contest.

The contest is:
7 points for a 1947 occupied Belgium coin.
6 points for a match of this coin.
5 points for a match for country and year (occupied).
4 points for a WWII occupied country coin (includes Manchukuo, Moravia, etc.).
3 points for a 20th century occupied country coin (e.g, French Saarland) or coin of occupied Belgium of a previous century.

Rest in Peace

Weeellllll, don't have many foreign coins but a few silvers so only one of two that fits the occupied category (altho there were people living there so they were ALWAYS occupied...tecnically of course)

I don't have any '47s from Belgium, but here is a 10 Centime from Belgium dated 1946 AD (like yours @arkie). My closest Belgian 25 Centime is dated 1943 so I think that this one here is worth more in this game.

Not really sure how many points this gets. Date is kind of hard to read, sorry. It's 1945.

Enjoying the responses. Providential that I was dumpster diving in the junk box earlier today.

Spence has the lead, by my count.

Hello, I think this is the closest coin that I have that would match the criteria, and the only zinc coin I have. I have other non zinc coins that may render me more points? Do the rules make it permissible to submit more than one coin? For now, until I receive confirmation. Here is my submission.

1943 Nederlands 25 cent coin

This is the best I can do. I have nothing from 1946 or '47 from Belgium. No one has posted a 1 Franc, so here goes:

1942

So, shall we wrap this up tonight, or wait until Saturday? Spence still has the lead.
