Here's a picture of the die scratch on the reverse from the middle serif on the "F" over to the "A" of America.

to CCF. Where did you send them to? Where did you get the coins? Have you got them back yet? John1

PCGS.. My grandfather left them to me when he passed away a few years back. No sir they just now arrived at PCGS so maybe I'll know something within a couple of weeks if they're not to backed up.. I've spent the last two months researching them and it's hard to tell from the pictures but I've been able to compare die characteristics on all 5 denominations but my verification has no weight behind it hah

The half dollar has the dangling 4 as well but I don't have enough zoom on my phone to get a clear enough image

We look forward to hearing more on these. I don't see anything that will jump above a 65, but they are all nice examples.

I am not good at grading and not much into the SMS coins. That being said, none of the coins looks SMS to me. Please PM me when you hear from PCGS,I am curious. John1

I assume the FBI wasn't able to match the fingerprint on the half to your grandfather?

I'll post a different picture of the Kennedy I took from another angle and different lighting. And yeah bump111, Grandad kept them locked up in his safe, they each were in one of those air tight size specific protectors.. They were about the only coins he had locked up in his safe out of his entire collection so that's why I'm pretty confident in what they are. Thanks chase I appreciate that, and if I happen to be right about these I'm not really sure what I will do with them to be honest hah. I take that back, I would use what money I got from them to pay for my grandmothers knee surgery. I feel like that's what he would do but we'll just have to wait and see.
