Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any information on the 1837 groats, from what I can see these were William 4th but I did read that some were minted for Victoria towards the end of 1837. I was wondering if this were true and if there were any ideas on number minted or value.

There are a few patterns in proof of Victoria for 1837 known,
Circulation issues are all William IV.

962,280 produced, William IV with numeral 4 on reverse or seated Britannia. Victoria ones were proofs only (plain edged and grain edged)
