Honestly, it just doesn't bother me. If I open a topic that I'm not familiar with, it increases the chance that ill learn something new.

That's me as well. With my mobile viewing platform, I can't see users' avatars with posts or country in New or Active Topics (I don't even know if others can). I "click" on something about a nickel, and it turns out to be Canadian, which I know essentially nothing about. Sometimes, I leave immediately because I can't contribute but, sometimes I read through and learn something.
You don't have to actively collect something to read about it and learn. I view pretty much everything I see that has an interesting title whether denomination is included in it or not. The only exception, really, is a title with "
VAM". I'm not ready for that.

With the volume of posts and the number of those by people completely new to the hobby, I understand the lack of immediate info in titles and the workload put on staff to correct that. As jbuck said:

If you see something, say something. Use the "Report this Post to the Staff" link in every topic and reply.
I mostly use that for topics in the wrong forum but, a title change is just as good a reason to use it. The mass of us non-staff views more quickly what the Mods can and can individually find as a problem.
Thank you to the Mods and Staff for this great place!
