Hi.
There's a lot of glare so in some pics it looks like a raised lump there and in some pics it looks like a crater.

Maybe taking a pic in natural light would help --- not an expert on photography...but it's worth trying.

I was part of a thread concerning a dropped device. The conclusion was a die gouge. NOW THAT looks to me to be an actual dropped device. Love to hear from those who were in the thread I'm referencing to comment on this.

If I'm seeing the picture correctly, it looks like a hit to the cent pushing the metal up and out - kinda like a meteor hitting the moon.

But Mark, wouldn't that create some slight deformation to its surroundings? It looks pretty defined and the sides don't look like normal hits.

I personally would love to see a close picture with different lighting.

Pix #3 shows a definite glancing hit by a round pointed object, thinking an ice pick or similar. Also, by the mushiness of LIBERTY and the rounding of VD_, that is a replated steel cent. Officially a replated cent is a damaged coin as is, worth diddly-squat. A worthless coin, express shipping, signature conf, insurance, TPG fees...sure, why not send it in for grading...

I'll take your word for it. Still wish I could see it at a different angle/lighting.

I completely agree with you Crazyb0. For sure, it's indeed just a hit and a reprocessed cent. The value has been completely wrecked unfortunately making it worthless.
