When I hear Penny I see this:

Tom, I must be really old school cause when I hear "Penny" I think of Lost In Space!! "Penny Robinson" and of course - "Danger Will Robinson"

Yep, Judy was to old and I never did care for blondes. But I would go fishing or play baseball with Penny ALL of the time - (then make my move - LOL!!)

No - I watched LIS when I was a little kid - Black and White TV - I think they were on late afternoon along with the cartoon 8th man (his name was TOBOR which was ROBOT spelled backwards) and I think Gilligan's Island which was also Black and White. Ah the good old days!! (Oh don't get me started on Mary Ann! LOL)
Rest in Peace

Mark, I wonder what Penny Robinson looks like today. My guess is she's circulated with some PMD. The blonde Penny looks Mint State! It's probably just the Black & White picture. I'll need to have them in-hand to be sure!

The folks that make them call them Pennies. Every mint provided COA that contains one cent coins refers to them as Pennies. If it's good enough for them....

Two wrongs don't make a right, and in the case of the Mint hundreds of wrongs doesn't make a right either.

Does the same rule apply to folks who refer to 5 Cent coins as nickels?

Actually, it's not that critical. I'm being more facetious then anything.

For what it is worth, check your local MeTV station at 3AM EDT on Sunday Mornings for Lost In Space reruns. The first episode of the third (and final) season just aired this past Sunday. I have it set to record them so I can watch with my son later in the day.

Oh, MeTV is also has the original Battlestar Galactica at 7PM EDT on Saturday.

Sorry about the diversion, get back to the pennies, er, cents.
