The impossible to grade series IMHO. This one got a green bean for what its worth. Higher eye appeal in hand.

I always have trouble grading these I'm going to go with MS65

Interesting die crack on the reverse at K8. Those are not as common as clashes in this series.

Lots of original detail under the toning, I'm going to say MS63 but that's a guess (my knowledge is of the circulated kind).

I don't think it goes higher because it's just not the rare full strike that crisps up outlines of the obverse shield and the diamond and orbs in the C on the reverse. The stars are flat and while there is some of the 'finning' outline on the arms of the C, it's not sharp.

Funky strike, as usual. I can't spot any circulation, but it's tough to be sure when some areas are so weak (date).

Nice original patination with no hint of cleaning. I'd be surprised if it was less than 63.

A little dark but still a very nice original coin. Complete shield makes this one a nice strike.
