Quote: Would it make ms65rd? If it does it's a $2,000 one cent piece. The color of this coin appears unusual for an early San Fran piece which are normally brassy golden in color. It does look like a high-end coin though. I'd guess it's a ~MS64 that has been processed to look Red. Where did you acquire it or where it is available for sale?

I wish I had sharper photos . It looks like there is some wear on obverse high spots , hope I'm wrong . Otherwise nice original coin.

I agree. That IH looks super weird. The colors off, not just because of usual ones from that year and MM, but it looks like it's been treated with something? And the MM is ALL wrong.

Mintmark does not look good on this one.
I know this seller has multiple names and accounts. His coins are always pictured on that same cloth. He/She usually deals with problem coins and says that "most coins have been cleaned" in the details.
I would stay away.....no way does that coin get a 65RD.
